Vortex 2.3 is here!
Everyone fancies themselves a master tactician when the World Cup is on the telly, but we all know the true test of strategy is deciding exactly which class and subclass to roll for your next Baldur's Gate playthrough! Whether you’re glued to the football or happily ignoring it to run around Faerûn, we’ve got a snappy new Vortex update to ensure your games run flawlessly.
🎮 Game-Specific Upgrades
Speaking of Faerûn, your Baldur's Gate 3 load orders will apply properly again, and we've banished the pesky "Failed to migrate" error that was stopping the game from loading. Plus, Fallout 4 VR players can finally use ESL plugins, bringing it up to speed with the support already offered for Skyrim VR.
📥 Downloads & UI Polish
Interrupted downloads will now automatically restart if their temporary files go missing. We've also fixed a rare crash when combining certain mod archives and squashed a visual bug on the load order screen. Finally, you can easily spot your current Vortex version right in the title bar, very handy for grabbing quick screenshots for support! And speaking of support…

We’ve done a lot of bug-squishing in this update, but if you happen to spot a wild one that managed to escape, please let us know! You can report any pesky issues over on GitHub (just remember to attach your Vortex log file so our dev team can figure out exactly what went wrong).
