Nextendo news in the HOME Menu
The News section of the HOME Menu now shows Nextendo Network news, in Latest and Featured, like Nintendo's own.
- Nextendo mode: Prelude installs the patch that lets the console accept Nextendo news, removes the news already downloaded from Nintendo, and asks you to restart. Nextendo news show up in Latest and Featured within about 10 minutes after the restart.
- Nintendo mode: Prelude removes the patch and the Nextendo news. Nintendo news come back after the restart.
After updating, open Prelude once in Nextendo mode so the patch is written to your SD card, then restart when Prelude asks you to.
System version 22.5.0 only for now. On any other version the patch is not installed and your news are left untouched.
