Prelude v4.0.2 — fixes "Find Channels" on firmware 23.0.1
On firmware 23.0.1 the HOME menu's Find Channels failed with "failed to load channel info", and Nextendo's news channel did not load.
Nextendo's channel files are not signed. Prelude has always installed a small patch (nextendo_bcat_signature) so the console's news module accepts them. The patch is tied to the exact build of that module, and 23.0.1 rebuilt it, so it stopped applying. This release adds the patch for the 23.0.1 build.
- The 22.5.0 patch stays, so 22.5.0 and 23.0.1 are both supported (the console applies the one that matches its firmware).
- Together with 4.0.0 (certificate patch), this covers the two patches that depend on the module build.
- 23.0.0 is not covered.
Who needs this
Anyone on firmware 23.0.1 who wants the Nextendo news channel. If you are on 22.5.0 nothing changes.
Tested
On one console (23.0.1, Atmosphère 1.12.1, emuMMC): after the patch the console fetches the channel icon and the news summaries and the channel loads. Not tested on other consoles or on 23.0.0.
