Prelude v4.0.1 — Pokémon Sword / Shield online
New: Pokémon Sword and Pokémon Shield (1.3.2) now go online on Nextendo.
Both games share one game server, so Sword and Shield players see each other. Working on the Y-Comm:
- Link Trades and Link Battles
- Max Raid Battles: invite others, raid stamps on other players' Y-Comm, and joining
- Other players in the Wild Area
- Stamps
What you need to do
- Update Pokémon Sword or Shield to 1.3.2.
- After updating Prelude, select Nextendo mode again so the new host line is written.
- No ExeFS patches are needed for these games.
Known issues
- Battle Stadium online competitions list no rule sets (Nintendo's official competitions are gone).
- Surprise Trade has not been tested yet.
