Two fixes to updating itself. If 0.1.1 refused to install, this release is the one that goes through.
The update no longer needs the Russian translation
Anyone who installed without the community Russian translation was told the
update pack was broken:
This pack cannot update your install - it is missing rus/Lang_Russian_1/mod.json ...
The updater worked out which parts of an install to touch from the first folder
name in each path, and had no rule for the translation - so it fell through to
the one that means "always installed" and demanded those files from everyone.
It now treats it as the optional component it is.
This release's pack carries the translation files anyway, so the updater already
on your disk accepts it even though that copy still has the bug. You do not
have to reinstall. Take this update and the problem is gone for good.
The game tells you when an update is available
Before, the game started the updater in the background and left it to speak for
itself, which it did not - players only found out by running the tool by hand.
Now the game asks first: a window comes up saying a new version is available and
naming the updater it will run, and it only runs when you say yes.
rexupdate.exe as a separate download
An install whose updater is too old to accept a pack cannot repair itself
through a pack. rexupdate.exe is now attached to the release on its own: drop
it into tools\rexupdate next to the game and run it. It is the same file the
installer puts there - no need to download the full 187 MB installer.
Everything in 0.1.1 is included: the crash on ropes and vines, the game running
on integrated graphics, and crash dumps for bug reports.
