(if your node is running fine now then it has probably not been affected by the issue below)
[FIX] A very important fix that removes a problem introduced in late November. It could lead to an unpredictable behaviour including:
- block processing failures
- losing historical chain level info (making some reorganizations impossible)
- causing failures in some JSON RPC calls used in the main and pruning branches
The problems would appear for many users only after weeks of uninterrupted running (when state caches were getting filled in). It was very visible and easily reproducible on our experimental beam witness branch that lead to the discovery of the bug and a fix.
Running Nethermind:
Nethermind Launcher is a self-contained app - you do not need to install .NET separately to run it.
