After more than 6 months of extensive testing, AudioMuse is officially out of beta. Version v0.8.0 marks a new chapter in the platform’s evolution.
This release debuts our brand-new Text Search feature, enabling you to discover songs using natural language. Simply type a short query (it work well with short one like 1-3 words) and find music based on:
- Genre: Rock, Pop, Jazz, etc.
- Mood: Energetic, relaxed, romantic, sad, and more
- Instruments: Guitar, piano, saxophone, ukulele, and beyond

This is a powerful first step toward a future where searching for music feels as intuitive as describing it. Text-based song discovery with CLAP is just getting started, and it’s shaping up to be one of the most exciting features yet.
The next generation of self hostable music search begins now.
IMPORTANT: Text Search functionality will need a new analysis of the entire collection with the new CLAP model to work. Old functionality still work with the old Musicnn model.
