Version 6.8.1
This is @orionblur's fork being merged back into the main NeoFreeBird repo. Only use this if you're already logged in and have not used any app with v7.x.x on it. This has a LOT of changes, but it'll hopefully fix the many issues accumulated over time, as well as add a lot of fun new features.
New Features
- Added a feature to hide Blue checkmark tweets from the timeline and standalone replies in comment sections. This does not apply to profiles or if you are following the verified user.
- Added a feature to hide the “Create Tweet” button in the bottom of the page, above the navigation bar.
- Added a new contributors section to the NeoFreeBird settings page.
- Added option to directly copy user URL.
- Added option to hide the “typing” indicator in Chat.
- Added a toggle to show unrounded counts, as well as added the ability to show the unrounded number of tweets.
- The News tab is now hidden.
- Added an option to disable the gesture to dock videos.
- Added option to download voice messages (due to how XChat encrypts attachments, you need to play the message to have the option to download it).
- Added ability to upload in 1080p (and 4k, but this is technically unsupported).
- Added option to see poll results before voting.
- Added option to tap to play/pause video (video controls can’t be hidden with this option on, Twitter limitation).
- Added option to see where an account is located in a tweet. Can spillover into next line at times.
- Added option to disable screenshot detection in XChat.
- Added option to disable the new media carousel (switches back to old grid view).
- Added ability to remove retweets of tweets from users who’ve blocked you (please fix this X).
- Doomscrolling can now be turned off with disabling video scroll.
- Added ability to use Tenor GIFs instead of GIPHY.
- Added option to export and import settings (no more coming soon!).
- Added option to always download the highest-quality MP4 file from media downloads.
- Added option to stop X from losing focus when staying out of the app for a long time.
- Added option to hide Message button on tweets.
- Added a “Download all Videos” button (only works when all media items are videos).
- Added option to see quote and retweet numbers (with an option for unrounded counts).
- Added an option to play a custom sound (under 7 seconds and with the AAC format) when a tweet is posted.
- Hide the “Download Grok Bot” button on Grok Tweets.
- NeoFreeBird now has (preliminary!) support for MacOS!

Fixes
- Added back the color on the Tweet source label.
- Fixed tab labels being off-center.
- Fixed the “Restore Video Timestamp” option.
- Tinted some buttons in the Chat menu.
- Fixed the news button not being rebranded.
- Added back the theme color to the horizontal scroll bar.
- Forced the “more” bar to always be present (this was only an iPad issue).
- Fixed the video timestamp not reflecting the custom font.
- Moved “Copy Profile Info” to the profile overflow menu. This now means you can’t copy profile info from your own profile, but you can click “Edit profile” and get that, so not a massive loss.
- Fixed bookmarked posts from verified accounts not followed not showing when the option to hide verified tweets was on.
- Fix Dim theme search and selected-tab colors.
- Fix Dim theme backgrounds after view reuse.

- Changed tap to pause to use 2 fingers instead of one (this now allows you to dismiss the media view).
- The in-app browser is off by default in LiveContainer installs.

- Fixed voice message downloading (now requires 2 fingers with a long press).
