This major release is an entirely refactoring of the plugin to make it compatible with Home Assistant 2025.5.0. Beginning with this Home Assistant version the sidebar, the paper tabs of the header and the header buttons have changed completely, something that provoked that multiple options of Kiosk Mode fail to be applied. This means that starting on this release, Kiosk Mode will be compatible only with Home Assistant 2025.5.0 or greater versions. Trying to use the plugin from version 7.0.0 and onwards in an older version of Home Assistant will not work, so if you have an older version of Home Assistant you need to keep using Kiosk Mode 6.7.0..
This release contains all the necessary changes to make it possible to continue using the plugin in Home Assistant 2025.5.0 and there are no breaking changes in terms of API, the only breaking change is the Home Assistant version supported by the plugin.
