Private Link Guard
FixupXer now warns you — fully offline — when a link still carries data that could identify or compromise you: embedded credentials, e-mail addresses, auth tokens (JWT), sign-in/reset/invite token parameters, and precise GPS coordinates. Tap the warning to see what was found (values are never displayed, logged, or stored), then continue, go back, or remove the parameter directly. Sensitive links are kept out of Conversion History and the processing cache.
Smarter, more careful cleaning
- Keep-unknown contract — cleaners remove only known tracking keys and keep unknown functional parameters, so cleaned links are far less likely to break.
- Host-boundary matching — cleaners and conversions trigger only when a domain actually terminates the hostname; no more lookalike-domain false positives.
- 14 new platform cleaners — Wikipedia, Threads, Twitch, Spotify, Pinterest, Snapchat, WhatsApp, Medium, Bing, DuckDuckGo, Google Store, eBay, Netflix, AliExpress — plus Google Maps coordinate-URL canonicalization and expanded Facebook/LinkedIn/global marketing keys.
Offline redirect unwrapping
Facebook l.php, LinkedIn /safety/go, YouTube /redirect, Google Ads pagead/aclk, Reddit Mail, and Bluesky go.bsky.app wrappers are unwrapped locally with strict single decoding and HTTP(S)-only targets.
Bluesky post conversion
New Embed? toggle converts Bluesky post links to fxbsky.app (and back), with an independent Browser-mode default.
Clean link from selected text
Select a URL in any app and choose Clean link — editable fields get the cleaned link replaced inline; elsewhere a share-style preview opens.
Custom rules: test vectors & Teach from example
- Save up to 20 input → expected-output test vectors per rule; a rule can be enabled only while all its vectors pass.
- Teach from example — provide one before URL and the exact desired result and FixupXer conservatively infers a disabled draft rule with an auto-generated test vector.
Other
- New What's new? menu entry opens the release notes.
- All processing logs sanitized — full URLs never reach the logcat.
- 370/370 unit and 201/201 instrumentation tests pass; zero permissions, 100% offline, as always.
