Bug fix release.
OpenCVFisheyeCameraModel.image_points_to_camera_raysnow returns the exact inverse of the fisheye projection for all calibrations. It previously ran three unguarded Newton iterations from an equidistant starting point. For strongly distorted calibrations the result could be off by more than 1 rad, land on the decreasing branch of the polynomial, or be NaN. The inverse now falls back to bracketed Newton iterations where plain ones don't converge. Thenewton_iterationsdefault changed from 3 to 20 and is now an upper bound, so well-conditioned calibrations cost the same as before. Image points beyond the maximum of the forward polynomial have no inverse and now map to the boundary ray of its increasing branch.
