📦 Available Builds

• Dev: Full dev build with all components (universal APK, runs on every architecture).
• Dev32: Dev build without FFmpeg (universal APK, runs on every architecture).

ℹ️ The Dev build bundles FFmpeg, which is why it's bigger. The "Dev32" build drops FFmpeg. All builds are universal APKs and run on every architecture.

⚖️ Why is the Dev build bigger? The only difference between Dev (≈ 140 MB) and Dev32 (≈ 62 MB) is FFmpeg: ≈ 77 MB of native audio libraries bundled for every architecture. It is not used for regular playback, streaming or downloads: it only powers Media Export and the in-app Metadata Editor. Dev32 drops FFmpeg to stay small and doesn't include those two features. The rest (≈ 62 MB) is the code and resources inherited from upstream, trimmed gradually by a single maintainer. Full explanation

  • Separate APK: Installs alongside Stable/Beta as a distinct app (different application ID).
  • Default: Auto-update is enabled by default.
  • User options:
    • You can disable auto update in Settings > About > Auto update enabled.
  • Behavior:
    • Dev builds auto-update to the latest Dev release only.
    • Does not receive Stable or Beta updates.
    • Does not interfere with your Stable or Beta installation.
  • ⚠️ Note: This build is for testing and development only. May contain bugs and experimental features.
