As previously announced, this release does not support Android 5-8.1. Use v2.15 instead.

What's Changed

• Migrate to new MAC vendor/country backends. It is expected to see slightly different and more up-to-date results for MAC address lookups.
• Support non-Unicode SSID for system hotspot on Android 13+ or for repeater non-safe-mode.
• Support using system hotspot configuration for temporary hotspot on Android 11+, although the feature would most likely only work on Android 12+. (#166, #465)
• Initial support for Android 14 DP 1: support displaying a warning of configuration being potentially invalid when editing system Wi-Fi hotspot configuration.
• Various fixes.

Since this version targets Android 9+, the apk uses uncompressed dex files to reduce install size on the device. As a result, the apk file distributed over GitHub is significantly larger. If bandwidth is limited, it is recommended to download the zip file and then unzip the apk file using e.g. the pre-installed Files app.
