A new UI, PKG Streaming with the PS5 downloading packages by itself in the background, three debrid services, downloads that restart when they stall or break, old firmwares that trust today's sites, the disk remembered, filekeeper downloads fixed and general bug fixes.
New
- A new interface: a header with icons, a Settings page that gathers every option in one place (speed limit, disk for downloads, PKG downloads, package cleanup, services) and a Favorites page for the games and homebrew kept with Triangle, with a heart in the header.
- PKG downloads in the background: a PS4 or PS5 PKG goes by its link to the PS5's own Downloads, which fetches it with Overdrive closed too, or stays in Overdrive with pause, resume and the install at the end. The player chooses before each PKG, or once for all of them; Overdrive is offered first and marked "Faster", since it serves the package over eight connections instead of one.
- Debrid services: TorBox, Real-Debrid and Premiumize keys in Settings send their links straight to the console, and TorBox and Real-Debrid link from the phone with a QR code. Downloads from a pasted link and from qBittorrent land in the same list (#20, #107, #89).
- Remembered disk: the drive a download goes to is kept for the next one (#103).
- A page of symbols on the keyboard, and third-party DLC packs are no longer offered as games.
Fixed
- PKGs the console fetches through Overdrive are read ahead over eight origin connections in memory, and the buffer is freed when the console stops asking: no longer limited to a single stream.
- A download that stalls, or idles between short bursts, restarts itself; one whose partial file or staging no longer matches starts over instead of failing.
- Delete removes a download again (it had stopped removing anything).
- A download on a USB drive keeps its checkpoint across a restart.
- Old firmwares trust today's sites: Mozilla's root certificates ship beside the console's (#28).
- The console's refusals now say why in
app.log, with the reason and its code, and every session names its build; a signed link no longer fills the line and hides them. - The Downloads list moves up and down by row, Up from the first one reaches the add strip, and the header's progress bar spans its own item.
- The download disk setting keeps its drive numbers readable with several drives plugged in.
- FileKeeper's gateways use sixteen connections, under the point where they answer 503, and get a new link when they stall.
- The app waits for the helper's answer past its log lines, so a helper that started is no longer taken for one that failed, and the package server reuses its connections.
