🧊 The flyout could freeze
The taskbar flyout was drawn as a transparent, software-rendered window, which could show a stale (frozen) frame until something forced a repaint — you may have noticed it "unfreezing" when you took a screenshot. It's now a normal GPU-composited window with a translucent acrylic backdrop and rounded corners on Windows 11 (an opaque rounded panel on Windows 10). It no longer freezes.
Install: download and run TaskbarGroupsFluent-Setup.exe. Already on 1.4.0? The app will offer this update automatically on launch.
