Bloodborne PC Windows Port v0.6.3
This update fixes mouse look speed issues, adds GPU selection for laptops with two graphics cards, includes all 21 text languages, and brings stability fixes from the upstream Linux port. It also resolves startup and mid-game crashes on older CPUs and multi-threaded graphics rendering.
Changelog
-
Smooth 1:1 Mouse Look (PR #147)
- Fixed an issue where the camera turned too quickly during slow mouse swipes, but felt sluggish when flicking or making small, quick aim adjustments.
- Replaced the camera input math so rotation now responds 1:1 to your mouse movement at any speed.
- Cleaned up stick input states during loading screens so the camera does not jump when gameplay resumes.

-
GPU Selection & 21 Text Languages (Upstream Port)
- Choose Your Graphics Card: Added a GPU Adapter dropdown to the launcher right under Draw Prep Workers. If you are on a laptop with both integrated graphics and a dedicated GPU, you can now pick which one to use.
- All 21 Languages: Added all 21 official PS4 Bloodborne text languages to the Game Text Language menu.
- Your chosen GPU and language are saved automatically so you do not have to reselect them each time.

Blur Effect Crash Fix (Upstream Port)
- Fixed a crash (
0xa0020007 / Code 23) that happened during blur and depth of field calculations. - Added a safety clamp to prevent the game engine from triggering an assertion crash or showing a black screen when blur effects run.

Older CPU Startup Crash Fixes
- Fixed mathematical errors in how older CPUs without BMI1 support handled bit counting instructions (
LZCNT,BLSR,BLSMSK,BLSI). - Removed a faulty memory allocator patch that corrupted memory on older CPUs when memory buckets ran empty.
- Removed a bad heap check that caused the game engine to panic and shut down during startup.
- Resolves #124, #141, #145.

-
Mid-Game Graphics Crash Guard
-
Mouse Look Crash Guard
- Added safety checks to prevent crashes if the camera hook ever receives an invalid memory pointer or triggers an execution error.
- Resolves #96.
-
Vulkan Stability Fix
- Fixed rare "Device Lost" crashes by ensuring GPU memory sync barriers finish correctly before work begins.
- Resolves #27.

Clearer Error Messages for Missing Files
- When preparing game files, the tool now tells you the exact file that is missing or incomplete (like
sce_module/libc.prx), instead of giving a confusing message abouteboot.bin.

Requirements
- OS: Windows 10 or Windows 11 (64-bit)
- GPU: Vulkan 1.3 capable graphics card (NVIDIA GTX 10-series+, AMD RX 400-series+, Intel Arc)
- CPU: 64-bit x86 processor supporting AVX 1.0 or SSE4.2 (older CPUs without BMI1 are now supported)
- Game Dump: Decrypted Bloodborne PS4 dump (CUSA03173, version 1.09) with
eboot.binandsce_module/libc.prx
Installation
- Extract the release archive to a folder.
- Run
BloodborneLauncher.exe(orrun.bat). - Select your decrypted 1.09
eboot.binpath. - Pick your GPU Adapter, game language, graphics settings, and controls.
- Click Launch Bloodborne.
In-Game Hotkeys
- F1: Lock or unlock the mouse cursor.
- Insert or L3 + R3: Open the in-game settings menu.
- F11: Show or hide the FPS and performance display.
Troubleshooting
- If the game freezes on startup or crashes when moving between areas, set
prep_workers=1orprep_workers=2inbbport.iniinstead ofauto. Higher values use more CPU threads at once, which can overwhelm 4-core and 6-core processors. - If the game crashes in crowded fights, cap your frame rate to 60 FPS in the launcher. Higher frame rates work well on powerful PCs, but they increase physics and particle load.
- Avoid enabling conflicting frame rate mods at the same time. If you run into issues, try launching with only "Skip Intro" enabled first.
- If you notice visual glitches or crashes after an update, delete the cache folder in
user/cache/CUSA03173/so the game can rebuild shaders cleanly.
Note
- When reporting a crash, please include both
bblauncher.logand the latest crash log from theoutfolder.
