GoldenEye VR v0.1.9: back to the launcher ☰

Bring your own game. This APK contains no GoldenEye game data. You need a ROM of the USA cartridge you own. Installing over any earlier version keeps your ROM and settings.

New

• Hold ☰ Menu to go back to the launcher (#16). Hold the menu button on your left controller for about 1.5 seconds, anywhere in the game: in play, on the watch, or in the menus. A prompt asks first: A to go back, B to carry on. The game restarts into the launcher, so you can change settings or cheats without quitting the app. The mission you're in won't be saved.
• A quick tap of the menu button still pauses or opens the watch and selects in the menus. It now acts when you release the button, so a hold doesn't open the watch first.

Install

• Updating: install GoldenEye-VR-v0.1.9.apk over your current version with SideQuest. It's signed with the same key, so there's nothing to uninstall.

Known issues

• On Frigate, the speedboat's left windshield pane is missing (#18).
• On Frigate and Surface 2 the water pattern can shimmer as you move your head.
• On Surface, a few patches of ground don't take bullet impacts, and the aim crosshair disappears over them.
• The frame rate can dip in heavy firefights. A performance pass is next.
• Bullet holes and some wall decals can still cut off when you're up close.
• The watch laser shows an extra arm.
• Only the USA (NTSC-U) ROM is supported.
