Major Changes

  • The GShade Installer, GShade Control Panel, and GShade Update Reminder have been fully translated into Japanese and Simplified Chinese, with additional languages to come.
  • The infinite shader loading issue under various DirectX 9 games such as The Sims 4 should now be resolved.
    • Please note that this does not mean specific shaders which are incompatible with some versions of DirectX 9 will suddenly work.
    • Using a different graphics API such as DirectX 11 should the game support it, or DXVK if it does not, is still recommended.
  • All changes from ReShade version 6.6.1 have been added.

Known Issues

  • Automatic depth buffer detection will not function properly under Black Dragon Viewer (Second Life) due to how its PBR changes were implemented.
    • It is still possible to manually select a functional depth buffer by enabling only the DisplayDepth.fx shader on the Home tab and then selecting a valid depth buffer from the Add-ons tab under Generic Depth, but this will likely need to be done on every app launch.
