v4.0.4: See Changelog For More Information

latest releases: v5.1.3, v5.1.2, v5.1.1...

Minor Changes:

  • New GShade installs now only support Guild Wars 2 through the DirectX 11, DirectX 12 (for use with d912pxy), and DXVK (Experimental) API options.
  • New GShade installs for The Sims 4 will now default to the DXVK (Experimental) API option. Please ensure that you have the latest graphics driver for your GPU installed and that you've checked against our commonly known problematic software and settings list if you run into any issues.

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed an issue where Phantasy Star Online 2 New Genesis would crash when attempting to access legacy Phantasy Online 2 districts.
  • Fixed an issue where uniform variables tied to preprocessor definitions by the ui_bind annotation could be changed when Automatic Preset Saving was disabled.
  • Fixed an issue with Guild Wars 2 settings detection where DirectX 12 would not be an option for use with d912pxy during installation.

Shader Changes

  • The following shaders have been updated:

    • FilmicPass.fx - Added sane minimums to some settings to prevent the shader from presenting a black or flickering screen under DirectX 11 and DirectX 9 respectively.
    • SharpContrast.fx - Relocated to the ComputeShaders folder due to excessive register use which is inherently incompatible with DirectX 9.
    • TFAA.fx - Fixed an issue where a pooled texture was causing a black screen whenever the shader was enabled.
