Major Changes:

• The PNG compression type and level used when taking screenshots can now be specified on the Settings tab, enabling manual tweaking of speed and file size.
  • Lower compression levels and specific compression types result in a larger file size but take much less time to process.
  • This is a solution to a concern that had been brought up frequently after the removal of BMP format support, as many photographers wish to take several screenshots in very quick succession.
• To improve FPS latency and stuttering for specific games, a new section [DXGI] of config options has been added to GShade.ini. These will be set automatically for Phantasy Star Online 2, but re-adding GShade to the game may be necessary in some cases. For information on how to set these variables manually, see:

• The bundled DXVK build has been updated to version 1.9.1.

Minor Changes:

• Clamped mousepoint special uniform values to a sane range based on the window size, which prevents unintended shader behavior when the mouse leaves the window.
• The installer and GShade Control Panel should no longer remove ini files related to 3DMigoto during installs and updates.
• The installer and GShade Control Panel should no longer remove dll files related to a common unofficial Final Fantasy XIV Korean translation library during installs and updates.

UI Changes:

• The Use Improved (Slow) Screenshot Compression checkbox under the Screenshots category of the Settings tab has been removed and replaced by multiple new and more detailed PNG compression options.

Bug Fixes:

• Fixed an issue where the Vulkan toggles in the GShade Control Panel would not enable (but could still disable) Vulkan support.
• Fixed an issue where some Chinese glyphs which are part of the UI were not rendering correctly.
• Fixed an issue where some preset folders were associated with the incorrect checkboxes in the installer and GShade Control Panel.
• Fixed an issue where the incorrect webpage would open when clicking Read Changelog in the GShade Control Panel.
• Fixed an issue where the update reminder utility, if enabled, would not start immediately after an update was installed via the GShade Control Panel.
• Fixed some outdated and misleading header text on the executable selection page of the installer and GShade Control Panel.
