Major Changes:

  • DXVK is now included as an experimental API option to run DirectX 9, 10, and 11 games under Vulkan with GShade. Works well for Final Fantasy XIV on most video cards, breaks ACT overlays, doesn't work well for PSO 2, may work terribly or wonderfully in other games; you've been warned.

  • Several compute shaders are now available in DirectX 11+, OpenGL, and Vulkan games.

  • Added Simplified Chinese translations to the in-game overlay.

  • Baldur's Gate 3, No Man's Sky, Marvel's Avengers, Remnant: From the Ashes, Neverwinter (the MMORPG), Cemu, and Ryujinx have been whitelisted.

  • Genshin Impact has been whitelisted as well, but it is not officially supported due to the game's anti-cheat solution blocking normal installations from working properly.

  • Adjusted installer to support the new 64-bit DirectX 11 TERA Online client.

  • Adjusted installer to support existing d912pxy Guild Wars 2 installations.

  • All ReShade 4.8.0 changes are included.

UI Changes:

  • The splash/banner can now be hidden when loading presets after initial startup by enabling Hide Banner/Splash When Compiling Shaders on the Settings tab.

  • The position of the FPS meter, clock, and frame time meter can now be adjusted freely.

  • In order to make the loading bar toggleable, minor updates now permanently show the banner/splash while the overlay is open and there is a minor update available. Effects are still not disabled by minor updates.

Bug Fixes:

  • Fixed an issue where the milliseconds portion of screenshot filenames was not added, preventing more than one screenshot from being taken per second.

  • Fixed an issue in the control panel where presets would sometimes all be unchecked for new installations.

  • Fixed an issue with the PSO 2 override where a specific particle effect would display incorrectly.

  • Fixed an issue where the language setting may not have been saved when updating through the control panel.

  • Removed unused optional textures option when adding an installation through the control panel.

  • Fixed installer not placing files in the correct locations for Guild Wars 2.
