Major Changes:

GShade can now run on top of any game that ReShade itself does! Note that the network depth buffer kill switch is only disabled for and the update utility only works with specific whitelisted games, but this change opens up the use of GShade's extra features in offline games, something which was frequently requested.

Shader caching has been added as a GShade exclusive feature thanks to seri14. On DirectX games, It should reduce load times when switching between presets as well as initial preset loading times significantly after the relevant shaders have been loaded at least once before.

Screenshots in GShade now use a second thread, which means that the quick "pause" or "freeze" that was experienced when taking screenshots should no longer occur.

Phantasy Star Online 2 (JP) is now supported!

A Desktop update reminder utility has been added which checks for and provides hourly tray notifications when an update is available. This is not to be confused with the in-game banner update notifier.

The option to enable or disable it is provided during installation, and post-install it can be configured via shortcuts in your start menu.

Pause (4 hours)

Neneko's MultiLUT atlas has been added to MultiLUT.fx, as well as number of new Halloween-themed presets from her that take advantage of it.

Talim's full preset library has been added to GShade.


Bug Fixes:

Transparent ChromaKey screenshots should now work properly under OpenGL games such as Second Life.


Known Issues:

The update notifier icon may disappear from the tray when hovered over; this is a bug which will be fixed eventually (some ancient software library source code needs to be tracked down) and does not impact its functionality.


UI Changes:

A visual <DIR> tag is now present on the right side of the Preset Explorer dropdown menu to aid with identifying folders.
