Moonfin v3.0.0 Release Notes
3.0.0 ALREADY?? What changed?
Nothing changed really. This update was bigger than I honestly thought it and it should have been marked as 3.0. Also now that all Moonfin clients are equal in terms of features, functionality, and UI, this gives me a change to have all clients and the plugin on the same release numbers and release schedule.
Also this repo gets usually over 3,000 downloads per release usually and wanted to do this before it started getting too high, I apologize for any confusion and annoyance. Also Tizen users, check out the new TV Store from Apps2Samsung so you can auto update apps right from your TV
The same release notes as 2.11.0 are below:
Plex servers now sign in next to Jellyfin and Emby, with Plex Home users, Live TV and Plex's free channels. Settings were reorganized to match Moonfin-Core, music got a rebuilt player that keeps playing while you browse, and EPUBs, PDFs and more comic formats open in a rebuilt reader. Live TV can rewind and record from the player, video, music and book libraries each get a choice of styles, Home cards can play a preview or the whole trailer when focused, and sign in PINs can now live on your server. On the fix side, 2018 to 2020 Samsung TVs stop asking the server for H.264 encodes and silent E-AC3, Samsung playback comes back after pressing Home, Next Up no longer cuts off the end of an episode, Live TV plays on Emby, Fire TV handles high bitrate remuxes, and YouTube trailers play on LG again.
Note
Don't forget to update to Plugin v3.0.0 here. Server side sign in PINs, RomM linking, Reviews, incomplete recordings, translated custom rows and most of the new synced settings need it.
Features
Plex
- Moonfin signs in to Plex servers. Add Server has Sign in with Plex next to Server Address and Emby Connect, and Plex servers on your network show up with the others. Sign in by entering the code at plex.tv/link, by scanning the QR code with a phone that's signed in to Plex, or with your Plex password.
- Plex Home users switch in with their PIN. Your servers come from your Plex account, so typing an address is optional, and Moonfin picks the best address for each server, local first and relay last, and checks it again on later launches.
- Playback covers direct play and transcodes, embedded and external subtitles, trickplay, theme music, cinema trailers and the connection speed test. Picture subtitles the TV can't draw are burned in, and your watched state follows what you play on other devices.
- Live TV works from the server's own DVR tuners and from Plex's free channels, with the guide and recording schedules. The Sports, News and Kids filters are hidden, since Plex's guide doesn't mark programs that way.
- Trailers come from YouTube. Plex keeps no trailer links, so Moonfin finds each title's trailer with a YouTube search.
- SyncPlay, Seerr, the Moonbase plugin features, personal ratings and log upload aren't available on Plex servers, and library filters Plex can't do are left out. On Fire TV, Plex requests go through the app's shell, since a Plex server only lets Plex's own web app read its answers.
Settings
- Settings were reorganized to match Moonfin-Core. The top level is now Account, General, Appearance, Playback, Storage, Integrations and About, with the same sections, icons and wording as the other clients, so a setting lives in the same place everywhere. If something moved, the search box at the top of Settings finds it by name.
- Settings Sync can pick a profile. Settings > Account > Settings Sync lets this TV sync with the Global, Desktop, Mobile or TV profile, with Load, Save and Reset. The pick stays on this TV.
Home
- Media previews on Home cards. Settings > Appearance > Home Screen > Media Preview offers Off, Media Preview or Trailer Preview. Media Preview plays a short, low bitrate clip of the focused card after about a second, from your resume point or a few minutes in, and a series plays its Next Up episode. Trailer Preview plays the whole trailer on the card instead, Seerr, external list and seasonal suggestions included. It's off by default, with Preview Audio and Preview Volume beside it, and it isn't offered on Tizen 3.0 and older, webOS 4 and older, or with Performance set to Performance.
- Peek Home Rows. Settings > Appearance > Home Screen > Media Bar > Peek Home Rows shows the top half of the first row along the bottom of the media bar. While a Moonfin or MakD media bar trailer plays, the row steps aside and the info box drops to the bottom of the screen. It's off by default and isn't offered for the Banner style.
- Home Screen Backdrop has four styles. Off, Full Screen (the default), Corner, which sits in the top right and fades toward the left and bottom, and Top, which keeps the top half of the picture and fades it toward the middle.
- Backdrops turn off one screen at a time. The single backdrop switch is now Home Screen Backdrop, Details Screen Backdrop under Details Page and Library Backdrops under Libraries, all synced through Moonbase. The details backdrop couldn't be turned off at all before.
- The Rows editor was reworked. Settings > Appearance > Home Screen > Rows lists the rows you have on at the top in Home's order, and the rest under headers you open and close: General, Collections, Favorites, Genres and Studios, Playlists, Seerr and External Lists. The Radarr and Sonarr calendars sit with Seerr, and the Live TV rows hide when the server has no channels.
- Picked collections, genres and playlists are ordinary rows now, saved in the synced home layout under the same names Moonfin-Core and Roku use, so your layout matches across clients. Collections from another signed in server show while Multi-Server Libraries is on, and picks the server no longer has are removed.
- An On Now row with up to twenty programs airing right now. Picking one tunes its channel.
- IMDb, TMDB and Seerr rows can be sorted by List Order, Name, Release Date, Rating, Popularity or Shuffle, ascending or descending, from IMDb Lists, TMDB Lists and Seerr Rows under Home Screen. The whole list is sorted before the row is cut, and the choice syncs.
- Custom rows and chart presets show in your interface language, with TMDB and MDBList titles and descriptions translated.
- External Lists can feed the media bar. Media Bar > External Lists picks IMDb charts, TMDB charts and your own custom lists. Titles you don't own bring their TMDB backdrop, and Kids Mode leaves them out.
- Seerr's custom Discover sliders, the ones a Seerr admin adds, show on Discover and can be added as Home rows.
- Pressing Home while you're on Home brings up a fresh set of media bar titles, and the Banner media bar uses banner art and sits below the navigation bar.
- Home rows and the media bar have their own ratings settings. Home Screen and Media Bar each have a Ratings section with Additional Ratings, Rating Sources, Rating Labels, Rating Badges and Reset Ratings, apart from the Details Page's. Home rows start with rating labels off so the info area stays compact.
- The classic Home info area was redesigned to match the other clients. An episode is titled by its series, with S1:E2 and the episode name leading the info line, then the year, rating, runtime, resolution and genres. Movies and series show their year under the card, and a line too long for the card scrolls.
- Modern rows give the focused card's details the whole row, and a long ratings line shrinks to stay on one line. Rows also sit closer together, with Row Padding now defaulting to its smallest stop.
- A Grandparents card size for Home rows, under Home Screen > Card Size.
- A Default Action for Continue Watching and Next Up. Settings > Appearance > Home Screen > Row Options > Default Action picks Go to Details, the default, or Play immediately. With Play immediately, the long press menu offers Go to Details instead. It syncs.
- Image Type per Row and the Continue Watching image type sync through Moonbase, so your server admin's defaults reach the TV.
Libraries
- Library styles. Settings > Appearance > Libraries > Video Library Style picks Classic, the original header with a row of icons, Modern, which puts search, sort, group and filters in one labeled bar over a letter row, or Docked, which moves them into a panel down the left side. It syncs.
- The library screen matches the other clients. Sort & Filter, Group By and Display are separate dialogs, and the sorts follow the library type, like Album Artist and Track Number for music, Date Episode Added for shows and Folders First in folder views. Display holds the scroll direction, image type, poster size and grouping, plus playlist types in a playlist library.
- The alphabet jumps instead of filtering. Picking a letter scrolls to the first title under it. Turn it on with Show Alphabet in Sort & Filter.
- Each library keeps its own filters, sort, Group By and Folder View, where filters used to reset on every visit. Folder View is a switch in each library's Sort & Filter now.
- Titles Under Posters and the library poster size sync, and the poster size follows your Home card size until you pick one. The Seerr browse screen has its own Poster Size too.
- Show Libraries Individually. Under Settings > Appearance > Navigation Bar, it puts each library on the top bar or sidebar with an icon for its type instead of inside the Libraries menu. It shows while Show Libraries in Toolbar is on, is off by default and syncs.
Music
- The music player was rebuilt. The art and track details sit on the left, and lyrics fill the right when a track has them, with Up Next in their place otherwise. One button swaps between the two.
- Music keeps playing when you leave the player. A mini player hangs under the top navigation bar, or opens as a card on the sidebar, and controls the music from any screen. Trailers and card previews wait until the music ends, and a track that fails in the background is skipped.
- Music Library Style under Settings > Appearance > Libraries. Classic is the original rows under a Jump Back In card, Quick Access starts with a grid of your recent albums and playlists, and Immersive, the default, leads with the album you're listening to. Each music category opens its own screen, and Search moves below the music bar while music plays.
Books
- EPUBs open in a paginated reader that handles right to left books, shows the minutes left in the chapter and saves your place the same way jellyfin-web does, so it carries between the two. Its menu has Contents, Bookmarks, a progress scrubber and page settings for theme, font, size, spacing, margins, justify, bold, brightness and warmth.
- Comics remember their page, load pages as they're needed and add CBT. The comic reader can read right to left with the arrow keys following along, invert the colors, and keep its controls up.
- CBR, CB7 and PDF open on newer TVs, and older TVs say the format needs a newer TV. The PDF reader has an Invert Colors switch that only inverts the page. 2.10.0 only opened .cbz comics.
- Book Library Style under Settings > Appearance > Libraries. Classic is the original shelves under a featured title, Reading Room leads with what you're reading on large cards, and Bookstore, the default, browses the whole library in a grid. Each book destination opens its own screen.
Details Screen
- A Reviews section with TMDB reviews through Moonbase, as cards you open to read in full, in every detail style. It can be hidden under Settings > Appearance > Details Page > Sections.
- A trailer picker. Titles with more than one trailer open a list with the server's own trailers first, then YouTube's with their length, channel and a Subtitled tag on subtitled cuts. Detail screen trailers follow Trailer Captions now too.
- Multi-part movies. A movie split across files lists its other parts under Additional Parts and plays them on after the first.
- Collections play as a playlist. Modern collections get a Playlist tab and Spotlight a sort button, with Server Order (the new default), Release Order, Alphabetical and Custom Order. Custom Order is saved through Moonbase, Move Up and Move Down rearrange it, and Play starts in that order. Episodes join a collection's queue, each collection row leads with the collection's own card, and Nouveau movie and show pages get a rail for each collection they're in.
- People open in your detail style, in all five, with Favorite and Display buttons. Display sorts credits by title or release date and can group repeated roles, synced across devices, and each credit shows the role under it, or the year when there's no role. Spotlight splits a person into Filmography, Appearances and Crew cards.
- Playlists can be sorted and filtered by twelve fields, ascending or descending, and filtered by watched state, favorites and media type. Play and Shuffle follow what's shown, the playlist on the server stays as it is, and Move Up and Move Down are only offered in Playlist Order.
- Spotlight has a File Details card for movies and episodes that opens the full file information, and a version badge next to the title when there's more than one version, with a Version badge switch under Sections. Its cards also keep to 16:9 and scroll sideways.
- Audio and subtitle picks on the details screen are remembered for that title, and for the whole series on an episode.
- The episode you're viewing is marked in its season's list, with the border on Modern and a blue band on Minimalist and Spotlight.
- Minimalist movie pages get an Extras button that opens the extras in a pop-up. It's hidden in Kids Mode.
- Seerr titles show where they stream. A Streaming on row lists the subscription services Seerr has for your region, in every detail style, with a Streaming services switch under Sections.
- Anime markers can use the short Sub, Dub and Sub/Dub labels when the plugin asks for them.
Playback
- An episode browser in the player. An Episodes button opens the season that's playing, scrolled to the current episode, with season tabs and anime markers. Picking an episode plays it from where you left off. Place the button under Settings > Playback > Player > Player Buttons.
- The skip prompt works like Moonfin-Core's. It shows with the player controls up, just above the bar, Up from the seek bar reaches it, and Back hides it before it closes the controls. Once its time runs out it comes back with the controls until the segment ends.
- Holding Left or Right speeds up seeking. The first few moves use your Seek Step, then it goes 30, 60 and 180 seconds at a time.
- Channel Up and Down jump between chapters, and on to the next or previous episode at either end. In music they skip tracks, and on Live TV they change channels.
- Dual subtitles. Turn on Secondary Subtitles under Settings > Playback > Subtitles and the Subtitles button asks for a primary or secondary track. A second SRT or WebVTT track stacks above the first with its own size, offset and color, and Preferred Secondary Subtitle Language puts a language first.
- Prefer text subtitles and Prefer external subtitles under Playback > Subtitles rank SRT and VTT above picture subtitles, and files next to the video above embedded tracks. A forced track never outranks a full one.
- Subtitle Download Languages under Playback > Subtitles searches up to five languages at once, with results listed in the order you picked them.
- Transcode Audio Codecs under Settings > Playback > Audio has the server convert the audio codecs you pick while the video plays untouched.
- Trailer Volume and Preview Volume, from 0 to 100 percent. Trailer Volume is under Media Bar and covers the media bar and Details trailers, Preview Volume is next to Media Preview, and both sync.
- A rebuilt Playback Information dialog with Playback, Video, Audio, Subtitles, File and Technical sections. It says in plain words why a file is transcoding, whether the audio is decoded on the TV or passed through, what was converted from what, and how many frames were dropped.
- The subtitle offset panel is a small strip at the top of the screen instead of a dark panel over the middle of the video, and the Offset rows in the subtitle menu show the current offset.
- A Fetching subtitles indicator shows while a subtitle you picked is still loading.
- A Cinema Mode Skip Button. Under Settings > Playback > Skipping & Autoplay, it shows a Skip button for the first ten seconds of each pre-roll. Back hides it, Right brings it back and Fast Forward skips.
- A light dim behind the player controls keeps them readable over bright scenes.
- Auto Crop is now Zoom to Fill, which is what it does. It fills the screen and cuts off the edges, and never looked for black bars.
Live TV
- Rewind live TV. Once a stream holds at least a minute, the seek bar runs from the start of that window to live, showing the time of day and how far behind live you are, and Jump to Live takes you back. Live TS streams on Samsung can't rewind.
- A Record button in the player records the program, the episode or the series, and Series Settings picks all episodes, new episodes only or episodes not already recorded.
- Recording a program that already started shows the airing now and the next showing as cards, with Record Now Only, Record Future Showing Only, or both.
- Series recordings get their own mark in the guide, grayed out on a showing the rule skips, and episode lines show in the guide and in Search.
- Recordings that missed part of a program get an Incomplete badge with how many minutes were recorded, and Live TV managers can Keep as Complete.
Seerr
- One request sheet. Quality, seasons and the advanced options sit on a single sheet with Request and Request 4K, season pills with All Seasons, ticks on seasons you already have, and how many requests you have left.
- Season and episode pages get the Seerr actions, and Report Issue starts on that season and episode.
- Request actions sit on the poster as round buttons.
- Seerr Discover follows your Home row style, drawing Modern rows when Home uses them, and titles you don't own grow into a titled TMDB thumbnail when focused.
Sign In and Accounts
- The server list, Add Server, Who's watching? and sign in screens were redesigned to match the other clients on TV. Add Server asks first whether you're connecting with a server address, a Plex account or Emby Connect, and shows the server it found before you sign in. The user switcher was rebuilt the same way.
- Sign in PINs can live on your server. With the Moonfin plugin, a PIN set on one TV works on every device, each account has its own, and wrong guesses are counted by the server. The PIN on the TV is the fallback when the server can't be reached, and Settings > Account > PIN Code asks for the current PIN before it's turned off, changed or removed.
- Forgot PIN? on the PIN screen clears the PIN once you sign in again with your password or Quick Connect.
- A QR code for Quick Connect on Jellyfin 10.9 and newer, so a phone that's already signed in approves the code with one tap.
- A Time's up screen when a Jellyfin access schedule ends. Playback stops, the screen says when the account can be used next, and Switch User is right there. The schedule is checked every minute and whenever the server refuses a request.
Keyboard
- Keyboard styles. Settings > General > Keyboard Style offers Native, the TV's own keyboard, Classic, the original Moonfin keyboard, Glass, a frosted panel with larger keys, and Docked, the new default, which fills the bottom of the screen and shows what you type above the keys. It syncs, Prefer system keyboard carries over as Native, and a key on the keyboard itself switches style.
- The Xbox keyboard's controller shortcuts work in the on-screen keyboard. Y types a space, the bumpers move the cursor, the left stick is Shift, the left trigger switches between letters and numbers, and the right stick moves through suggestions.
Remote and Magic Remote
- Holding a direction moves on every repeat of the remote. It used to skip repeats for the first few seconds, and focus still stops as soon as you let go.
- Rows and pages scroll on their own under the Magic Remote pointer when it rests near an edge, faster the nearer it is.
- Clicking the picture with the Magic Remote plays or pauses and brings up the controls.
Games
- RomM account linking. Settings > Integrations > RomM > Link Account shows a code and a QR code to approve on your phone, and from then on you see your RomM games and your saves go to RomM.
- Battery saves sync for every game, and a save that fails to upload goes up at the next launch.
- A redesigned game details screen with the snapshot on the right, the title without its region tags, facts like the developer, publisher, region and size, a save line with Start fresh, and the core picker next to Play.
- Box art keeps its own shape in the game grid and the More in row, and Fast Forward, Rewind, Page Up and Page Down page through the grid.
Seasonal Effects
- Valentine's Day, Easter, Pride, Lunar New Year and Diwali effects, and a focus follower on Home for each holiday that moves to whatever has focus, like Cupid's arrow or Santa's sleigh. Focus Follower under Seasonal Effects turns it off and keeps the effect.
Xbox
- Passthrough (Experimental). Under Settings > Playback > Audio, it sends TrueHD, DTS and Dolby Digital tracks to your receiver as they are. It needs Allow passthrough on in the console's audio settings and takes effect on the next video. 7.1 transcodes come in fMP4, Playback Information shows what's sent to the console, and the device probe has a passthrough and speaker test.
Fire TV
- Trailers play at 1080p in the media bar and on Details, where the stick played the 360p file before.
Performance
- Home starts up faster. It draws its first rows and adds the rest one at a time, older TVs hold back posters far down the page, start up calls Home doesn't need wait their turn, and repeated requests at launch are shared. Picked collection, genre and playlist rows below the first eight load as focus comes near them, and the media bar stops reading its sources once it has enough titles.
- Back to Home is instant and lands on the card you opened, since Home stays loaded behind Details and libraries.
- Held arrows stay smooth on Home and in library grids, which now reuse their tiles and move their own focus.
- Details opens faster. Its shading is a small stretched image instead of full screen gradients, which cuts the drawing work by about two thirds.
Bug Fixes
Samsung
- 2018 to 2020 Samsung TVs remux HEVC instead of asking for an H.264 encode. The server keeps the HEVC video when only the container or audio needs changing, so servers with transcoding off, like a Raspberry Pi, play those files instead of timing out on stream preparation.
- Samsung TVs older than Tizen 6 have sound when the server remuxes a file. They were offered E-AC3, which they play silently, and they get AC3 now.
- AV1 files with a burned in subtitle play. The server encodes H.264 instead of being asked for an AV1 encode it can't do.
- AV1 is only claimed on Samsung TVs that can decode it. 2018 and 2019 sets updated to Tizen 5.5 have no AV1 decoder, so Tizen 5.5 needs a 2020 or later UHD model now, and the rest get AV1 transcoded instead of a file that fails.
- Playback comes back after pressing Home or turning the TV off and on. The screen stayed black and Play did nothing. The player now reopens the item where it was, paused if it was paused, with the same audio track and burned in subtitle.
- Smart Hub tiles open their title once someone is signed in, and play it straight away when Default Action is set to Play immediately.
- The Experimental TrueHD Attempt switch is back under Settings > Playback > Audio while passthrough is on. 2.10.0 had the setting but no switch for it.
- The oblong build fills the wide Smart Hub tile on Tizen 5.0 with a 1920x1080 launcher icon instead of a narrow, jagged one.
- The diagnostic report shows the real Tizen version instead of TV Version 3.0 on newer sets.
LG
- Episodes start on the audio track the picker shows. The TV could start the next episode on another track than the one picked.
- A file the TV refuses to direct play falls back to a transcode within about a second. LG pauses a file it gives up on, and that read as your own pause, so it sat on the spinner. MKVs with their track list after the cues were the usual cause.
- YouTube trailers play on LG again. YouTube refused the lookup from the app, so Trailer showed Loading trailer and went back to the details page. The lookups go through the app's bundled service now, and that works on webOS 6 too.
- The audio and subtitle pickers respond quickly during playback. The whole player redrew four times a second, and on webOS 4 presses queued up behind it.
- 4K LG TVs that report HEVC Level 6.1 direct play files tagged above Level 5.1 instead of having the server transcode them.
- The player controls no longer pop up when the Magic Remote pointer times out.
- A stop sent while the next video loads reports the new video's position, not where the last one ended.
Fire TV
- High bitrate remuxes play. HEVC direct plays up to 120 Mbps, up from 35, and Auto asks the server for up to 120 Mbps, so remuxes aren't re-encoded down to 40 or 60. On demand HLS goes through hls.js with 2 second segments, since the stick's own HLS player ran out of memory, and PCM audio in MKV direct plays.
- Picking another audio track plays it. The stick always played a file's first audio track, so the server remuxes the stream when you pick a different one.
Xbox
- Transcodes keep the HEVC video when only the audio needs converting, and the retry after a failed transcode asks for H.264 alone.
Playback Everywhere
- Next Up no longer cuts off the end of an episode. The card came up with 30 seconds left and the next episode started when its countdown ran out, so any Next Up Timeout under 30 seconds skipped the end. The card now shows for the last Next Up Timeout seconds and the next episode starts when the file ends.
- The next episode no longer hangs on loading until Stream preparation timed out. When the Next Up countdown and the end of the episode landed together, the second one tore down the new player while it started.
- Leaving the app reports playback stopped once. Closing the app sent the same stop two or three times, which made scrobblers like Trakt answer with errors.
- Mute Trailer Audio only mutes the media bar, and trailers opened from Details play with sound.
- Subtitles stop picking a forced track over the full one when a file only says forced in the track's title, and Forced and Default modes skip forced tracks in a language you don't read.
- Details shows the subtitle the player will actually start on. It worked the track out on its own and could show a different one.
- Subtitle downloads search your Default Subtitle Language. The search only looked at the playing tracks, so English audio meant an English search, and Dutch language codes are read properly now.
- Recordings still in progress play from Details.
Emby
- Live TV plays on Emby. Emby's live streams only work as MPEG-TS and its fMP4 segments came back empty, so Emby channels ask for TS first, and Xbox direct plays them.
- Channel items like a HyperMS library play.
- Hide from Continue Watching and Next Up keeps your progress by taking the item off resume instead of marking it unwatched.
- Creating a playlist works on Emby, and new playlists on Jellyfin are private instead of public.
Home
- Home stops lagging behind your presses with the backdrop blur on. 2.10.0 blurred the backdrop on the TV, which some sets couldn't keep up with, so the highlight lagged and OK could open a card focus had already left. Your server blurs the artwork now and sends a smaller image, so every TV gets the blur you picked, including low and mid tier sets that got less or none.
- External rows are kept per server and user, so a child signed in after a parent never sees the parent's IMDb, TMDB, list or seasonal rows, and the other way around.
- Collection and genre rows you turned on stay on when you reopen the Home rows editor.
- A genre from the Genres screen opens across every server when libraries are merged, instead of an empty library screen.
- The media bar no longer comes up empty when its library is on another server, and Up from the first row no longer gets stuck when the bar is empty.
- Media bar trailers only play while the bar has focus, and the media bar pauses behind the screensaver.
- Home sections that come back empty stop flashing on every load.
- Modern cards no longer show a zoomed poster before the wide art arrives.
- Card Size syncs with the other clients. The TV saved two of its sizes under names Moonfin-Core doesn't read.
- The lowest Row Padding stops pull Modern rows closer instead of all looking the same.
Details
- Picking a Seerr recommendation opens that title instead of reloading the current one.
- Picking the episode you're on from its own list plays it instead of reopening its page.
- Back leaves a run of episodes in one press. Opening an episode from another episode's page replaces it now, where each one used to stack up.
- Spotlight section pop-ups keep scrolling with a held arrow and stop jumping back to their first card.
- The Spotlight hero no longer slides under the top navigation bar.
- The runtime shows on the Modern info line again, where only its clock icon was drawn.
- Missing dates stop showing as year 1, and birthdays are no longer a day early west of UTC.
- The Classic season page follows your Action Buttons settings, and seasons get Go to Series.
- Playlists open in the Modern layout under Spotlight, Minimalist and Nouveau, which have no track list.
- Tab bars with more tabs than fit scroll inside their outline and keep the picked tab in view.
- Special features are listed in order, by their number and then by name.
- Spotlight puts episodes with no season under Specials, and orders episodes that share a number by title.
Libraries
- Leaving a video or photo from a nested folder goes back to that folder instead of the library root.
- Mixed folder views no longer put every show ahead of every movie.
- Grouped library rows load from the library's own server with Multi-Server Libraries on.
Seerr
- Download progress is right. A season pack counts once instead of once per episode, and releases Sonarr or Radarr is holding back are left out.
- Seerr Home cards show ratings for movies, and series are no longer looked up on the media server by the wrong id.
- Seerr's Recently Added row has its titles and artwork.
- Deleted and blocklisted seasons can be requested again. They counted as already in the library.
- Radarr calendar dates no longer show a day early west of UTC, and releases stay on the row through their own day.
Live TV
- The guide's date picker no longer skips or repeats a day across a daylight saving change.
- The guide stops repeating a program's name as its episode title.
- Left on a guide channel moves to the genre filters.
- Recordings rows bring their title into view on the way up, and the schedule reloads after a series rule changes.
Navigation and Interface
- Waking the screensaver with the remote stops at the screensaver. 2.10.0 only caught presses from a phone, so on the remote an arrow moved focus, OK opened the card behind it and Back left the screen.
- Focus stays inside the Playback Information dialog instead of walking the hidden player controls, and Up and Down no longer move focus behind the photo viewer.
- Dates and amounts follow Moonfin's interface language instead of the TV's own.
- A refused sign in says why. Jellyfin refuses an account that's outside its allowed hours, locked or disabled, and the sign in screen called that a wrong password. Quick Connect also stops sitting on Waiting for authorization when the server refuses after you approve.
