Features

If you encounter any issues, clear data and cache.

New MPV Playback Backend
We’ve switched to the mpv engine for playback. In plain terms, that means better compatibility, smoother rendering, and direct play working with way more of your files.

Complete Settings Reorganization
The settings menu has been completely reworked. It’s now broken into clearer sections like:

  • Playback & SyncPlay
  • Dynamic Content
  • Integrations

This new layout will eventually roll out to other Moonfin clients too, so everything feels consistent no matter what device you’re on.

Media Bar Styles
You can now pick between two home screen media bar styles:

  • The default Moonfin look
  • The classic MakD style used in Paradox’s plugin

Expanded Integrations
We’ve added support for some of the most requested plugins:

  • Home Screen Sections
  • KefinTweaks media bar
    And more to come!

Custom App Themes
Themes are finally here. This release includes the new synthwave-inspired “Neon Pulse” theme, and it’s just the start—there’s a lot more potential here.
