What is New

A large update for Litefin, adding full support for the Jellyfin 12.0 server, a couple of new features, and a lot of bug fixes.

Notes:

• If you still don't know, Litefin now has a companion plugin to add more features (Seerr and Backup & Restore) and performance upgrades, so do add it to your server.

Cool New Features:

• If you frequently switch languages, set up your favorite languages from the display tab in settings to make your life easier, this will hide other languages in all other settings and in track selections as well.
• You can now download subtitles directly from your player, inside the subtitle track selection menu.
• You can hide OSD progress, mainly when pausing and resuming, to hide the amount played.
• You can change details page description max lines now, and always show see more button as detailed veiw as well.
• You can preserve text subtitle colors by disabling Litefin's subtitle color override now.
• There is a new layout for media rows, it a small change from classic, but it doesn't hurt performance (more rounded corners with a better progress bar). Also, it has 2 override modes, one increasing posters when possible, the other preferring landscape rows all over the app.
• A new slightly lighter theme mode, for different background colors.
• You can now edit images directly from Litefin, and refresh library metadata as well (from settings).
• You can now select a different layout for episode and season details pages, separate from the main details page.
• You can now change the default tab Live TV opens to (from the Home tab in settings).

📦 Which version to use?

Litefin provides 4 distinct build variants per platform (Tizen & webOS) to ensure compatibility across all hardware generations.

Note: If you are unsure, try the Normal build first. If the app feels sluggish or fails to load, move down to Legacy.
