Release v1.8.0: Aegis Shopping List & Vault Readiness, Multi-Language Support, and Deep Badge & Tooltip Customization

This release is packed with a ton of new stuff: the new Aegis Shopping List to track what you have vs what you still need to farm in your vault, multi-language support across 6 languages, an interactive 4-corner badge positioner with custom styles & text scaling, a tooltip width slider, and a strict spreadsheet perk ordering toggle!

reminder for all who don't want the spreadsheets: you can add your own custom wishlist if you want, just sync it in under CUSTOM WISHLIST then change the ACTIVE RANKING SOURCE to WISHLIST and have fun!

What's New in v1.8.0

Additions

  • Multi-Language Support (6 Locales): Added localization support for English, Spanish (es), Korean (ko), Japanese (ja), Simplified Chinese (zh-CHS), and Traditional Chinese (zh-CHT). It auto-detects your DIM or browser language, but you can also pick one manually in the popup settings.
(Note: Non-English languages are currently WIP and mostly machine-translated for now, but I'll keep refining them, so please reach out if you want to help out! Right now I need native Spanish, Japanese, and Korean speakers).

  • Aegis Shopping List & Live Vault Readiness: Added a dedicated Shopping List tab inside the Database Explorer that checks your vault in real time and tells you if you're Ready (S+/A), Suboptimal (B/C), or Missing the weapon completely. Clicking any weapon card expands it to show the target perk combos, farming sources, weapon role, a direct link to its Destiny.Report page, all copies in your vault with live grades, and viable alternatives with hover tooltips! (also added armor shopping cards for 2-piece and 4-piece archetype targets so you know what armor to keep!).

  • Interactive Badge Positioner & Visual Customization: You can now click any of the 4 corners on a live weapon tile mockup in the popup settings to move your badge wherever you want (Top-Left, Top-Right, Bottom-Left, Bottom-Right). I also added a text size slider (70%–130%), 3 visual badge styles (Original, Slim Pill, Top Notch), and a peek-on-hover badge fading option so you can actually see the weapon artwork and power level when hovering over items.

  • Custom Tooltip Width Slider & 2-Column Perks Matrix: You can now control the width of the tooltip with a custom slider (260px to 450px) if you want it wider or more compact, plus a toggle for a 2-column recommended perks matrix and a single-line compact header.

  • Strict Spreadsheet Perk Rank Ordering: Added a setting to order recommended perks strictly by spreadsheet rank (#1, #2, #3) instead of showing the perks you own first, for anyone who wants to see the exact sheet ranking order as written by Aegis/Finnald. (This was suggested by harmerTM , maxmesser and SeraphimAngels. Thanks for the feedback!!)
