Public test build. Stable remains v1.9.2. Bring your own cartridge dump.
Changes
- Android / Web: Options → Experimental → Hide touch controls. The choice is remembered. Useful when using a physical controller, including handhelds such as Odin 2. A small options button remains; touch navigation returns inside Options so the setting can be reversed.
- Claude's save-crystal fixes: switching slots updates the summary, empty slots clear it, saving writes to the selected slot, and the crystal remembers the last saved slot. The launcher preserves the Experimental preference and unknown settings.
- Includes the previous nightly's wider scene profiles and Guard Armor improvement.
- Includes the integrated PS5 alpha port from PR #15, freshly built for this release. Use PPSA98511.zip.
- Updated EU/US/JP builds for Windows, Linux, Steam Deck, Anbernic alpha, Android alpha and Web alpha. Linux/Web link the core's portable voice support.
Downloads
- Windows: extract the Windows ZIP and run ReKHCoM.exe.
- Linux / Steam Deck: extract the appropriate tar.gz and run ReKHCoM.sh.
- Anbernic, Android and PS5 remain alpha. Android is an ARMv7 APK; it has not been tested on an Odin 2.
- Play the Web alpha, or download the Web ZIP for static hosting.
- SHA-256 checksums are attached. No ROMs, personal saves, savestates or personal settings are included. The Steam Deck bundle includes its intended preset.
Validation and remaining work
EU/US/JP compilation, package integrity, touch input/hiding/recovery, settings persistence, launcher (11/11), Web runtime/controls and Wasm ABI checks passed. Claude checked save-slot isolation and last-slot reopening with an EU harness. Build checks do not establish performance or compatibility on physical Android, Anbernic or PS5 hardware.
Reported Hollow Bastion savestate issues and final wide-scene review remain tracked. Only Leon's scene has final visual approval; beach, ice and Monstro remain improvable. Darkside WIP is excluded. This release does not mark the full backlog complete.
