ReKHCoM v2.2

ReKHCoM 2.2 brings the stability and HD corrections from the test builds to the stable desktop release, with updated packages for every supported target.

  • Fixed zero-range scrolling in map-card and Moogle menus, and preserved GBA zero-divisor behaviour in the translated game paths. Windows64 recovery is restricted to supported translated-game division faults.
  • Corrected the reported attack-card seam pixels while preserving the original frame corners and HD illustrations. Improved enemy HP gauge colours, synthesis presentation and world-card coverage at the complete white-fade endpoint.
  • Improved bounded audio starvation recovery and priming without changing the game clock. Gallery HD music pauses while GBA movies own the audio.
  • Fixed native Linux64 HD movie pipe progress. Restored pause, Continue and Skip confirmation, movie-language selection and the enabled video FPS display.
  • Accept supported MP4 alignment padding after complete boxes while rejecting malformed box lengths. Android distinguishes ROM ZIPs from HD packs and preserves previous files on failed imports.
  • Hide the desktop game cursor after four seconds of inactivity, restoring it on mouse activity or leaving the game window.
  • Each updated desktop release resets the architecture preference to Automatic once, preferring a compatible 64-bit runtime. Same-version manual choices, session CLI overrides, unrelated settings and the 32-bit compatibility path are preserved. Linux x64 checks SSE4.1 before starting.
  • Updated Vita package version metadata and long-path archiver handling on Windows.

Downloads: Windows32/64, Linux32/64 desktop/Steam Deck, and beta packages for Android ARM32/64, Anbernic ARMhf, PS4, PS5, Vita and Switch. The browser beta is distributed through the project's Web page.

For native Linux HD import, open ReKHCoM Launcher.sh in Desktop Mode. The native importer avoids requiring the Windows launcher through Proton. Prepared HD folders and supported owned-PC sources are accepted; optional sprite extraction still needs the documented Python dependencies.

Extract into a fresh folder. No ROM, imported HD media, personal configuration or save is included. Preserve your saves before changing runtimes; manual saves are shared, while runtime snapshots retain their architecture namespaces.

Verification: the packaged Windows game passed six regional/architecture startups, saved map-menu return checks on32/64,21 native division contracts, targeted HD captures and audio-signal controls. The packaged Linux game passed six startups, saved map-menu return checks on32/64, native importer/MP4 controls and21 division contracts. Linux movie checks include pause/resume, Skip, resize, EOF, missing-font fallback, quit and renderer reset using real FFmpeg in an isolated VM.

Android and console packages have build, identity and archive/metadata checks; physical hardware remains unverified. Software captures and recorded PCM do not certify GPU performance or physical audio on every device. Reporter-specific Steam Deck Gaming Mode and Samsung/Moto cases remain separate follow-ups. No universal crash-free or general FPS claim is made.

The browser beta includes all three regional modules and passed module, ABI, controls, save-editor and initial UI checks. Cartridge startup in the browser remains unverified: the test extension blocked file selection, and the native automation attempt was stopped because it could not establish the current browser URL. This is a test-tool limitation, not a reproduced game failure.

Per-package source commits, sizes and SHA256 hashes accompany the delivery. Earlier stable and prerelease files retain their original bytes.
