Test build: pre18 plus
- Steam Deck / Linux: the native build uses the GPU by itself when the system has 32-bit Mesa (SteamOS does); no
launch option needed (#140). - HD movies (renamed from HD intros) follow the GBA: only the cartridge's movies are replaced, each by its HD scene
from the right moment; Riku's Road to Dawn plays in every mode; the GBA credits always play (#163, thanks
duartepedro03). - Options > Scenes: a gallery of the story's scenes, GBA and HD, the unseen ones as ???; Cheats > Unlock all scenes.
- Rebel mode: with cheats on (or a save edited in the launcher) achievements keep being earned in a list of their
own on this computer, never sent to RetroAchievements; its section in Cheats and its tab in the launcher. - Options > Achievements mode: Normal, Re:CoM or Rebel, with a sign saying what each means.
- Achievements in the game: Chain of Memories / Re:Chain of Memories, switched with Y, L2 or R2.
- Save banks: each with its own settings and first start; changed only from the title screen.
- First start on PC: full screen or a window.
- Audio filter in two profiles: GBA (16-bit) and HD.
- Quit the game warns only after an hour without saving; the mouse pointer hides when still.
- Wide view: the EXP gained sits under the HP gauge; actors waiting off camera are never cut at the frame's edge.
- Launcher: Remove from Steam, a framed cover, more translations; options not installed say so in red.
