Crash Bandicoot PC Launcher v2.1
Android Audio Fix
The biggest change in this release: audio on Android has been completely reworked.
The game's sound output is now clocked in sync with the game itself, which fixes the soundtrack drifting out of rhythm over time. Sound effects are also more responsive thanks to lower-latency audio buffers, and the audio now automatically adapts to your device's native sample rate.
Thanks @DettRandom for #23.
Native 16:9 Fixes
A huge round of widescreen scenery repairs. Many levels had holes, missing walls or missing geometry in the extra 16:9 area, and these have now been filled in:
- N. Sanity Beach: terrain, terraces, the pillar next to the stairs, jungle backdrop and sky
- Lost City: floors, walls, the upper temple and the sky arc
- Heavy Machinery: missing wall sections, without covering the real scenery
- Toxic Waste: the walls around the spawn doorway
- The Lab: towers, walls and sky
- Cortex Power: walls and the opening room
- Great Hall: holes in the walls and sky
- Cortex boss fight: the two holes on the sides of the blimp
- Restored missing geometry at the end of levels
- Restored missing scenery inside the central 4:3 area in some cases
- The bonus token HUD no longer overlaps the Wumpa counter
