Highlights
- Configurable font fallback. Legacy VSFilter rendering can now use Legacy GDI, automatic fallback, or Uniscribe, improving missing-glyph handling while preserving Legacy GDI as the default.
- Preserved HDR metadata and better color fidelity. HDR10, HDR10+, and Dolby Vision side data now survive subtitle processing. libass output follows the selected color transform, and color conversion uses more accurate rounding.
- Correct timing and backward seeking. libass and CSRI timestamps are no longer truncated in 32-bit builds, and external SUP subtitles remain available after seeking backward.
- Immediate CSRI renderer activation. Selecting or changing a CSRI renderer now reloads the currently open external and embedded subtitles immediately and refreshes the current frame. Restarting playback or opening the next file is no longer required.
- Less disruptive error reporting. Subtitle style warnings are now delivered as non-blocking notifications instead of interrupting playback.
