MOH Coop Trilogy v1.2.9
The long-session freeze is fixed
If you played for a few hours and then hit a map that hung forever on the loading screen, that was
this. It got blamed on whichever map you happened to reach — but the map was never at fault.
Every animated model registers its bone names into a shared lookup table. That table is never
emptied between maps, so it is a running total for your whole play session, not per-map. Once it
filled up, the next map to ask for a new bone died on the loading screen. Load that same map first
from a fresh launch and it works perfectly, which is exactly why it looked random.
The ceiling is now sized against the whole trilogy rather than guesswork: every model in the game
needs 4,589 entries, and the limit is now 16,384. The old limit was 2,560 — below what the game
can actually demand, so a long enough session was always going to fall over eventually. It can no
longer be reached, and if it somehow were, it now skips a single bone instead of killing the map.
You do not need to change anything. Long sessions and full-campaign runs are safe.
112 hidden blueprints across 30 missions
Blueprints are now placed and live on 30 missions across all three campaigns — 112 of them, tucked
into places worth looking. They feed the Paper Trail / Draughtsman / Archivist / The Whole
Portfolio challenge chain, and your total is tracked on the Service Record.
More are still going in, so the top tier stays at 104 for now — nobody mid-progress loses a
completion when the rest land.
Also in this release
- Quiet takedowns on another mission. The contain system — approach unseen, take a sentry out of
the picture without raising the alarm — is now enabled on a second stealth map. - Your gas mask is visible when you wear it. It was being applied but never drawn in coop.
- Briefing text no longer runs off the screen. The "go loud or go quiet" mission brief overflowed
its panel; it now wraps onto two lines. - Weather restored on a mission that lost it. One map had stopped storming because its weather
was arriving through a single-player-only path that coop never runs.
Installing
Already playing? Nothing to do — you update automatically on next launch.
New here? The full installer is ~6.8 GB and is published periodically rather than with every
release, so the current one is v1.2.8. That is the right one to use: it brings itself up to
v1.2.9 the first time you launch. Download all five files into the same folder and run the exe —
the exe is a small stub and cannot install anything without the .bin parts beside it.
- MOHCoopTrilogy-Setup-1.2.8.exe (2 MB) — run this one
- MOHCoopTrilogy-Setup-1.2.8-1.bin (2.1 GB)
- MOHCoopTrilogy-Setup-1.2.8-2.bin (2.1 GB)
- MOHCoopTrilogy-Setup-1.2.8-3.bin (2.1 GB)
- MOHCoopTrilogy-Setup-1.2.8-4.bin (0.5 GB)
It installs to its own folder and does not touch your GOG install or any vanilla OpenMOHAA
install — nothing is overwritten, patched or moved, and it needs no administrator rights.
Still worth knowing
This is built and tested around cooperative play. Single-player and competitive multiplayer are not
regression-tested — try them at your own risk. Debug controls (noclip, god mode) are still present.
