MOH Coop Trilogy v1.2.4 - The Sortie

U-boat Pens (m2l2b) overhaul

  • THE SORTIE: the mission finale is now a full cutscene - the U-boat gets under way, sounds her horn, and sails out into a building snowstorm while the base alarm wails behind you. Cut to the ticking charges... and back to a kill cam as she blows apart at sea: water hurled up all around her, burning oil spreading into a giant slick that stays alight as she goes down.
  • The Enigma machine is restored (cut content - the model shipped in 2002 but its shader was never written). She sits open and working on the shelf; decrypt the traffic, take the manifest, and the case snaps shut.
  • The manifest gates the demolition charges - and refusing a charge no longer bricks it (trigger_useonce engine fix).
  • Fresh dock garrison, cover crates and aid kits on the escape: clear the docks before the gate opens.
  • Objectives reworded and re-sequenced; escape flow tightened.

Norway Infiltration (m2l2a) - stealth actually works

  • Root-caused a chain of four separate bugs that made guards attack disguised players: a one-way engine aggro latch the mod tripped during the approach, the alarm runner busting disguised players, carrying your papers counting as "armed", and coop-only AI systems waking scripted actors. All fixed - papers can be shown freely, scripted busts still work as intended.
  • Card players stay at their table; the pen guards salute your officer's uniform like they should.

New: Auto-cover

  • Crouch behind cover, hold still a beat, and you tuck in automatically - like modern cover shooters. Peek and blindfire unchanged. coop_coverAuto 0 to disable, coop_coverAutoDelay to tune.

Also

  • m1l2b: the ringing telephone can finally be answered (name-collision fix - it had never worked).
  • Assorted objective, audio and ambience fixes across the U-boat missions.
