v1.10.55 - Norway: the hold at the station
The Axis push for the train
- Every wave now heads for the boarding platform where the train will stop, from the first minute, not the line you are holding.
- More of them: bigger waves, and up to eight more men on the field at once (six more again in the last third).
- The push peaks as the train comes in. In the last third of the hold, waves come twice as often and three men bigger. In the last 45 seconds the assault is close to non-stop.
Allied help - the squad that helps a lone player is no longer doing the work for you. Less health (200, was 500) and less accurate. They hang back near the train and take cover nearest the platform.
Two halftracks every time - when the west road is in your sight, the first halftrack now comes in by the east roadblock instead of never arriving.
Snipers you can find - one more rooftop sniper at every squad size. Each sniper's scope catches the light every few seconds, so you can spot them on their perches.
Demo editor
- Hold KP4 / KP6 to scrub, speeding up the longer you hold (2x up to 32x).
- Keypad 2 no longer opens the console.
Also still in: the Film Room, the Norway one-shot ending and braced MGs (v1.10.54).
