v1.10.49 - Norway push
Norway station holdout
- The Axis really push in now. Attackers used to stop and stand outside the roadblocks: once a soldier was fighting, the game ignored every order to move. Each attacker now follows his own objective marker forward in bounds - through the gate, into the defensive line, then on to the train platform - while still taking cover, firing and throwing grenades. Soldiers no longer lie down prone and freeze during the hold.
- Waves come out of the facility door you leave through to reach the train, as well as through both roadblocks.
- Spawns stay out of sight. Each roadblock has six spawn points round the corners, so you never see a wave appear and waves no longer wait for a hidden spot.
- Snipers and MG nests on the grey facility. The perches now sit on the big concrete structure around the yard. Snipers almost never appeared there before because their spawn check refused that building. None are on the wooden or snow-roofed buildings any more.
- FG42 in the storage room, on a crate, picked up with F like the other guns there. Storage guns now drop when their carrier dies.
Other maps
- m1l2a: the extra objectives (east-gate hold, searchlight generator charges, fortress radios) are removed - Grillo got stuck on them.
- m1l1: the plaza counter-attack hold is removed - attackers couldn't get past the destroyed wall.
For map builders
- Norway fuel-tank build launcher: a build-mode session in the fuel-tank room with no finale and no AI, offering just the fuel tank and the red charge marker, solid, with collision that turns with the tank.
