This release brings a complete UI overhaul powered by the MMRL X design system, substantial performance and architecture refactors, upgraded developer tools, and an enhanced WebUI runtime.

Highlights & New Features

Dashboard & Analytics

  • Home Dashboard: A new central Home screen features system status cards (root vs. non-root), hardware device details, storage usage metrics, and a support action center.
  • Module Analytics: Built-in analytics now automatically calculate module totals, state breakdowns, and storage consumption.

File Explorer & Editor Upgrades

  • Standalone File Explorer: Integrated a dedicated file explorer with its own navigation flow, adaptive app icons, and safe path scoping.
  • TextMate Syntax Highlighting: Added syntax highlighting to the code editor powered by TextMate language scopes and themes resolved via ADB paths.
  • Material File Icons: Centralized file and folder icon resolution using MMRLX Material icon mapping.

WebUI & WebUI Engine Enhancements

  • Unified Engine (MX Only): Standardized all module launches and shortcuts to use the native MX engine for better security, performance, and plugin support. Legacy engine configurations have been deprecated and auto-migrated.
  • Custom Context Menus: Introduced a native web context menu for handling navigation, links, images, email addresses, map locations, and phone numbers directly.
  • Dialog Overlays: Replaced native dialog prompts with Material Design 3 and MMRLX themed prompt, confirm, and exit overlays.
  • SVG Vector Support: Integrated SVG decoding support via Coil 3 for module icons and covers.

Customization & Seasonal Visuals

  • Seasonal Event Overlays: Added optional animated seasonal visuals, including Halloween blood drips (October) and winter snowfall effects (December/January).
  • App Event Opt-Out: Provided a user preference setting to toggle seasonal event overlays on or off.
  • Custom ADB Paths: Users can now specify a custom ADB path for non-root setups via app preferences.
  • Module Shortcuts: Added an option to generate pinned home screen shortcuts for individual modules.

Developer Experience & Tooling

  • Expanded KernelSU & System APIs: Exposed expanded package management APIs, file system streams (ksu.io), and module metadata direct to JavaScript interfaces.
  • DevTools Integration: Upgraded internal WebUI inspection tools with improved DOM parsing (powered by Jsoup), network tracking, console logging options, and customizable console event payload logging.
  • Custom Tabs Browser Integration: Added a centralized URL handler to open external links inside themed Custom Tabs.
  • Crash & Recovery Guidance: Upgraded crash screens with structured recovery guidance, markdown support, and direct issue routing based on build origin.
