Notes
- Getting Started with Syntherrupter
- How to Flash the Firmwares
- If you flash the Tiva for the first time or increase the coil number always check ALL settings. You should check it after each update, too. Just in case...
- This version is backward compatible with:
- v4.2.0-beta.2
- v4.2.0-beta.1
Changes
- EEPROM data management rewritten from scratch. It's now much easier and efficient to use (for me while coding). Existing data from previous versions is automatically migrated to the new layout (you'll get a warning message and can check everything before saving it permanently). The new EEPROM stuff also minimized writes to the EEPROM
- With these changes the EEPROM now works as expected with the Sysex commands. Data modified via sysex now behaves exactly like data modified via the UI (same things are stored or not stored in EEPROM).
- Minimum Ontime implemented - though "ontime offset" is probably more accurate. Check out the updated wiki page for details!
- Almost all v1 Sysex commands implemented. New in this version:
- Coil Limits
- Simple Mode filter constants/factors
- EEPROM Update Mode
- All commands now update the on screen data
- Device ID
- Fixed: Some more Sysex commands that would not work correctly with wildcard targets.
- Fixed: Sysex username and password commands
- Fixed: Sysex float commands were ignored. All float commands should work now.
Documentation
- All UI wiki pages now contain links to the corresponding sysex commands
- Added descriptions for the few missing pages:
- Startup
- Coil Limits
- Sysex Documentation
- Fixed a lot of tags and other stuff
- Description and link to Syfoh
- Added [EE] tag for values that'll be stored in EEPROM
- Added Device ID Command
- Added Output Invert Command
- Updated password recovery page for the new v4.2.x firmwares
