• Min SDK version is now 26 (Android 8.0 Oreo)
• Settings have been rewritten from scratch
• The settings storage backend has been changed (from SharedPreferences to AndroidX datastore). Some user settings will get lost so please check your settings after the update. The most important things (favorites, weather data, widgets, websearches) are safe however.
• Better permission handling: No more arbitrary permission requests on first start; instead, a banner is shown whenever a functionality is unavailable due to missing permissions
• New customization options for the clock widgets (more clock styles will be added in the future)
• The music widget can now optionally display media sessions from all apps instead of only from music apps
• The Wikipedia URL can now be changed; this is useful if you want to use Wikipedia in a different language
• Lots of internal changes / reorganization of the source code
• Bug fixes
