Top 3 new features:
- winesapOS Upgrade wizard has been added.
- Mac workarounds disabled if the hardware is not a Mac.
- Wine GE is installed instead of Wine Staging.
Issues addressed since 3.0.0-beta.1:
- The first-time setup will now prompt users to connect to the Internet first to download the correct graphics drivers.
- Two desktop shortcuts are now provided for Steam: (1) Steam Desktop and (2) Steam Deck.
Known issues:
- Users must login twice. This is a bug in KDE Plasma 5.23 that has been resolved in version 5.24 of the desktop environment.
- Solution: Wait for SteamOS 3 to update KDE Plasma.
- Steam Deck client works best on modern AMD GPUs.
- Solution: Wait for Valve to officially release the Steam Deck (-gamepadui) client for all Steam users with official support for more graphics drivers and devices.
