- Pacman keyrings are updated.
- The root partition will now resize to 100% on internal NVMe drives.
- System updates via
pacman
and/oryay
will no longer make the system unbootable.
Known issues:
- Users must login twice. This is a bug in KDE Plasma 5.23 that has been resolved in version 5.24 of the desktop environment.
- Fix: Wait for SteamOS to update KDE Plasma.
- The first-time setup wizard will fail and close if there is no Internet connection.
- Fix: Connect to the Internet and then launch the "winesapOS First-Time Setup" desktop shortcut to ensure you have the correct graphics drivers, locale, and time zone configured.
- Steam client cannot render the Steam Deck UI on NVIDIA graphics cards.
- Workaround 1: Use the start menu to search for and launch "Steam (Runtime)" instead of using the desktop shortcut. This will run the original Steam client.
- Workaround 2: Use an AMD or Intel graphics device instead, if possible.
- Fix: Wait for the Steam Deck client to officially support NVIDIA graphics cards.
