This update brings 2 new features, 9 fixes and 5 other changes.
Thanks again @phmg701
New
- Add a catalog backup warning to the setup wizard, release notes and help pages
- Keep your API keys in the system's password storage, not in plain-text preferences
Fixed
- Correct which models the temperature field reaches
- Mask the wizard key, read the dropped lookups, and report what a run never wrote
- Prevent catalog scans from changing Lightroom Date Edited
- Report a stopped run's warnings, say what the warnings mean, and show progress in two silent tasks
- Load the SigLIP2 towers independently and reach the unload route from Plug-in Manager
- Main does not compile — drop the pre-split SigLIP2 ensure_loaded reintroduced by #411
- Leave the top-level container out of the keyword hierarchy the import sends
- Drop the pre-split ensure_loaded that #411 brought back
- Assign table prefs back instead of editing them in place
Other changes
- Remove Vertex AI completely; one-path Getting Started
- Record which embedding function produced a stored vector
- Stamp embedding_model on old rows, keep prompt embeddings in LanceDB, and remember earlier inputs
- Judge emotion, keep usable frames first, let singles be rejected
- Keep API keys in LrPasswords instead of plain-text prefs

Already have LrGeniusAI installed? This update changes parts that the in-Lightroom updater cannot replace on its own, so please install it with the full installer above. Your catalog, settings and everything already analysed stay as they are.
Back up your catalog first
LrGeniusAI writes its results into your Lightroom catalog, and Lightroom counts
each of those writes as an edit: every photo LrGeniusAI processes gets a new
Edit Date, smart collections that filter on Edit Date pick it up, and the
old date cannot be set back. With Automatically write changes into XMP
turned on, Lightroom also writes the new metadata into XMP sidecars and
DNG/JPEG files, so cloud or NAS sync will upload those files again.
Back up your catalog before you run a new version over it, and start with a few
photos. How to back up, and what else to check:

If your computer warns about the download
Both installers are downloaded rarely enough that Windows and macOS may not
recognise them yet. This is about how well known the file is, not about
anything found in it.
- Windows — if SmartScreen says "Windows protected your PC", click
More info, then Run anyway. - macOS — if the installer is blocked, open System Settings → Privacy &
Security and click Open Anyway. In Terminal, xattr -d com.apple.quarantine <path to the .pkg>does the same thing.
Something not working? Please open an issue at Full Changelog: v3.2.1...v3.3.0

and what happened is enough to get started.
