Recommended upgrade
Note
op-node v1.19.8 → v1.19.9, op-reth v2.5.0 → v2.6.0. Upstream marks op-reth recommended for all operators (reth v2.5.2 update and a transaction pool fix). op-node is recommended for sequencers and optional for other nodes. No env, peer, entrypoint or flag change.
What changes on a Lisk node
- op-node metrics removed:
op_node_default_rpc_server_*andop_node_default_rpc_client_notifications_received_totalare no longer exported. op-node metrics are on by default here (port7300), so update any dashboards or alerts that query them. - op-reth persistence defaults: this image runs op-reth on the engine defaults, so it now keeps 5 blocks in memory ahead of the last persisted block (previously 0), and the persistence threshold rises from 2 to 7.
Upstream changes inert here
op-reth's other breaking changes don't apply to this image. It passes none of the removed --engine.sparse-trie-* flags, and Lisk has no pre-Regolith blocks, so the isSystemTx format change never triggers. eth_getMultiProof was not served before either.
