Dear Linkumori Users,

We’re excited to announce that starting with the v84 update, Linkumori will officially transition to the Chrome Web Store! This update is designed to provide enhanced security, automatic updates, and a seamless experience for all users.

What’s Changing in v84?

Transition to Web Store Version

If you’re currently using the self-hosted version of the extension (.crx), you will automatically be transitioned to the Web Store version in the v84 update.

Self-Hosted Version Still Available

Don’t worry! The self-hosted version will continue to be available. Starting 20 December, you will be able to download the self-hosted version again

Options for Self-Hosted Users

Prefer the Self-Hosted Version?

• Skip the v84 update and wait until 20 December or later, when the self-hosted version will be made available again for manual installation.
• After 20 December, you’ll need to reinstall the self-hosted version manually to continue using it.

• Better Security: The Web Store version is reviewed and verified by Google, providing extra trust and safety.
• Automatic Updates: You’ll always have the latest features, fixes, and improvements without needing to update manually.
