Highlights
Twelve reports from @julyx10 (#25 to #36), each checked against ExifTool 13.59 on the synthetic files of the report, now kept as regression tests.
- EXIF writing covers 338 of the 370 writable tags of Exif.pm and GPS.pm (it knew 29), from a table generated by
scripts/gen_exif_write.pl: ExposureTime, FNumber, ISO, FocalLength and the other capture settings can be written and copied again (#36). set_new_values_from_filecopies like ExifTool's SetNewValuesFromFile: GPS coordinates are no longer lost, and protected tags are left alone unless named (#36).- Values missing from a PrintConv print as
Unknown (N), instead of another module's entry for a tag of the same name: Orientation 0 was "Horizontal (normal)", and Flash, ColorSpace, MeteringMode and other EXIF enums had the same bug (#34). - Canon CRW: FocalLength (#29), Composite ISO (#30), Min/MaxFocalLength, Lens and LensID in millimetres (#35); DriveMode and ShootingMode for CRW.
- Samsung Type2 maker note table fixed (about ten wrong IDs), and a maker note tag no longer hides ExifIFD:LensModel (#28).
- GPS: XMP coordinates such as
12,30Nconverted (#25), QuickTime ISO 6709 and©xyzwith GPS composites (#26), OpenEXR capture and GPS attributes (#33). - XP tags decoded as UTF-16 text (#27), headerless UserComment kept whole (#31), XMP namespace URIs fixed as ExifTool does (#32).
- Low-level writer API:
writer::exif_edit::TagSpechas a newinfofield. The high-level API is unchanged.
