Patch Notes: Guilds say what they mean
Ranks 8 and 9 online
- At rank 7 a guild hall now tells you the next rank is a chapter chair - a council chair or the Master's - won by Merit at each Sunday's Turning, and what it asks: reputation 80, 14 real days in the guild and an account 7 real days old.
- A service only a chair opens (the Mages Guild's Teleport, Zenithar's summoning) now says so at any rank, instead of promising a review that never comes online. A knight is told a chair brings no house.
- When your rank is held at 7, the new Guild Chapters tutorial page opens. You also see it the first time you come online as a member of a guild, temple or order.
Your standing, said
- Every change to a guild's standing online is said in chat: "Standing: Mages Guild +25 (now 40, 10 more to come)".
- What the realm still owes you shows in the guild hall and on the Standing page, with the daily pace: 15 a real day, days turning at midnight UTC.
- When a quest's reward passes the day's pace you're told how much more is owed; if you're already at 100, you're told the rest is lost.
- Guild names appear in your language.
Probation and demotion warnings
- The guild hall and the Standing page now warn you before a review puts you on probation or lowers your rank, with when it happens and why.
- On probation you're told the stakes: below -10 you're expelled at the review, below 0 it runs 28 more days, and at 0 or more it ends. Online, earning the next rank ends it sooner.
Mages Guild quests
- Online, "Guard the Guild" now needs Mages Guild standing 10 and "Protect an Honored Mage" standing 20 - the standing their own quest headers ask. New apprentices are no longer handed them. Their penalties are unchanged.
Fixes
- The guild window's rank text scrolls on its own, so Talk, Service and Reforge stay on screen.
- Long refusals in the classic guild window no longer run off the screen.
- Joining a guild in the same minute as a standing loss is no longer dropped by the server.
- Translations updated in all 13 languages.
What's Changed
- Guilds say what they mean: SEAT-LINE, SEAT-WORDS, STANDING-WORDS, REPUTE-GATE (AUDIT GUILD-WORDS I + II) by @Lattymoy in #949
