Patch Notes: Guild promotions online

Promotions no longer wait

Online, you are promoted the moment you qualify for your guild's next rank. Talk to a guild-service NPC at the hall to get it. There is no 28-day wait for a promotion any more. Demotion, probation and expulsion still wait 28 days, so one bad day doesn't cost you a rank. Offline play is unchanged.

The hall tells you what's missing

Online, if you don't yet qualify, the guild popup lists what the next rank needs that you lack:

• the rank's name ("Next rank: Swordsman")
• your reputation against what's needed ("Reputation 14 of 20")
• the guild-skill level you're short of, with your best guild skill named ("A guild skill at 31 - your best, Axe, is 25")
• a second guild skill at the lower bar
• the guild's own skills by name

The list doesn't appear when nothing is missing or at the top rank. It shows on the enhanced UI skin (the default) and is translated into all 13 supported languages.
