Patch Notes: Readied spell hands, Grimoire fixes and chat search
New: Readied Spellcasting Hands
- With a spell readied, your casting hands are now raised and ready on screen until you cast. This is jefetienne's Readied Spellcasting Hands 1.3, ported 1:1. Self-only spells raise nothing because they cast at once. It's on by default and you can turn it off under Features -> Combat.
Search the chat
- The chat has a search bar above the player list (over the conversation on narrow screens). Type part of a name, or
#and a tag, to see every tab's lines from or about that player. The player list filters to match. - Type
/search <name>in the chat field to search, and/searchon its own to clear it./findand/whostill look up who is online anywhere in the world.
DFO Grimoire fixes
- Text on the parchment is readable again: the Social panel, letters, the guild page and fields you type in are now in the page's ink.
- The stray ruled lines are gone from the talk window, Professions and Master Skills.
- Enemy and boss health bars scale with your screen resolution. They no longer drain or sit on a board, and they stretch cleanly when made longer in the HUD editor (Alt+U).
- In the HUD editor (Alt+U), the length handle now follows your pointer, and resizing a piece no longer pushes it off the screen.
- In the in-game book, a setting's description opens as a scroll beside the book instead of covering the list. The Controls header no longer hides the rows while you scroll.
- In the decorations menu you can now see which tabs and filters are selected.
- The world and town maps have their Find me button back. It is still hidden on the dungeon's hand-drawn map.
- Spamming the hotbar no longer makes the game stutter.
- You can type in the quest journal's note field on the classic and Grimoire UIs again. It now opens as the game's standard text-entry box.
