Patch Notes: Dimmer, warmer interiors
Lighting
- With Enhanced Lighting on, taverns, shops, homes and guild halls are no longer lit evenly from wall to wall. A building's own lamps burn at half their old strength, so their light falls in warm pools with darker corners between them.
- Candles and other plain white lamps indoors now burn with the same warm flame colour as the street lanterns.
- Your eyes no longer brighten a dim room as much. Interiors stay moody instead of drifting toward grey.
- Your torch, candle, light spells, other players' torches and the Classic lighting look are unchanged.
Patch Notes: Gold tables, the card table panel, unsaved keys, Recall at sea and the Dragonling's soul
Gold card tables work again
- Gold tables refused every buy-in with "You have too many stakes waiting to be settled", on every character. You can buy in now. No gold was ever taken by the refusal.
A better card table panel
- A refused stake shows as a warning, a stake being asked shows as a wait, and your turn is highlighted.
- Quick buttons set your stake: Min and Max for the buy-in, and ½ pot and Pot for a raise. They only move the slider; you still press Deal me in or Raise.
- The slider shows its amount with its unit (gold or chips).
- A − button in the panel's title hides the seats and the log so you can see the table. The message and the buttons stay.
- The log shows one line per event, and the newest line is always visible.
Key bindings show what isn't saved yet
- A key you have set but not confirmed says "Not saved yet - press Confirm." on its row.
- The top of the page counts your unsaved changes and highlights Confirm.
- The Confirm bar no longer hides behind the Settings search bar.
- On a phone, the Confirm bar no longer covers the row you are binding.
Recall from a ship's helm
- Recall, unstuck and other teleports from a ship's helm no longer leave you stuck in the void. You leave the helm the way fast travel does, and a boat you can pack goes back into your pack.
Dragonling souls
- A soul-trapped Dragonling now gives -5000 enchantment points as Soul Bound. Before, only the rare quest Dragonling did; the ones you meet in the world gave 0.
