Patch Notes: Thorns and Spite no longer win fights for you

Thorns

• Thorns now pay back at most 10 damage per blow, down from 25. 25 was nearly two full sword swings returned every time a foe hit you, so standing still in front of an Ancient Lich could kill it.
• Thorns never deal the killing blow. They can wear a foe down to its last point of health, but you have to finish it yourself.
• Your existing thorns gear keeps every line it rolled.

Spite of the Spurned (Malacath's Bulwark, 4 pieces)

• Same rule: it still returns its share of each blow, but it never takes a foe's last point of health.

Troll's Blood

• New Rare armour no longer rolls Cast When Held: Troll's Blood. It gave permanent regeneration on a piece that smiths can repair, so it never wore out.
• Pieces you already own keep it and stay valid online. The Mages Guild item maker still sells it at Daggerfall's own price.

What's Changed

• BAL5: the blow paid back - thorns and Spite never kill, thorns cap 25 -> 10, Troll's Blood retired from the Rare draw by @Lattymoy in #771
