Patch Notes: A new Oblivion Gate
The gate
- The Oblivion Gate is a new, handcrafted model: two clawed pillars under a heavy lintel, ringed with burning spines.
- Its stone is cracked basalt veined with fire. The frame around the portal smoulders by night, and the spines burn toward their points.
- The portal's fire now fills the gate's opening right to the stone, and it meets the ground even on a slope.
- The gate rises fully out of the ground, with no piece of it showing early on a hillside.
- Anyone caught inside the stone as the gate finishes rising is set down safely in front of it, wherever they stood. Players standing in the doorway or beside the gate's feet are no longer moved.
The Burning Court
- The portal on the bridge is gone. You step out of a gate of fire that closes behind you, and it opens again when another player arrives (including someone coming back in).
- The way home opens where the Warden falls, as before, and now closes as the court comes apart.
- Until he falls, the only ways out are death and the Wrath.
/unstuckno longer works inside the court. - If the fight stops answering (a full or stalled room), you are returned to Tamriel after 20 seconds instead of being stranded.
